School Council

Welcome to Harrington Hill Primary School Council

We are the School Council. We represent the children's voice, giving all children at Harrington Hill the chance to share their opinions and have their say.  We encourage everyone to think of great ideas to help the school to become even more effective.

Ideas are passed on to the school council.  At the meetings we discuss, investigate, plan, take action or find someone who can help.

There are representatives from every class from Year 1 children to Year 6.

School Councillors 2018 - 2019

On Monday 9th July, local councillor, Councillor Steinberger, visited our school council.  The children asked him lots of interesting questions and enjoyed learning more about the job of a local councillor and what it means to represent our local area.  He was impressed to hear that our school councillors are elected democratically and enjoyed hearing about some of the projects we’ve been involved in.

School Council Foodbank Project

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the school council foodbank project! With your help, we managed to collect two big bags of donations which Alex, our caretaker, kindly delivered to the Foodbank in Hoxton last week.   The Foodbank were incredibly grateful for the donations and for our support.
